Sporty Junior School pupils had a busy few weeks in the run up to half term.

House Sport Week saw hockey and football tournaments for Year Three and Four pupils whilst Years Five and Six took part in netball and football competitions.

Year Six footballers made it through to the next round of the Stockport Cup after bagging a last-minute extra-time winner against Hursthead Junior School on a difficult pitch.

Year Four and Five pupils and Year Six girls took part in a swimming gala against Cheadle Hulme School. It was the first gala in over two years and for many it was the first gala that they had competed in. Special mention to Swimming Captain Anabel B-C who not won her race, but managed the Year Six team herself and mentored many of the younger swimmers.
