On 1st February away at Bury Grammar 10am, the SGS 1st team kicked off on Bury’s new 4G astro pitch. It was a good start of the game from a corner and was headed in by Cameron Reid. 0:1 up. Soon after, out of nowhere Roman Deans with a shot going into the net. 0:2. Bury came back quickly scoring a goal so they were back in the game. Then they scored another goal to make it 2:2 at half time.

The second half was tense for the whole thirty minutes. Suddenly, Jack Williams was kicked in the leg going down and everybody thought the game had stopped but the ball fell to Roman Deans and he swung his leg and chipped the keeper to make it 2:3 to SGS. Then the full-time whistle went and everyone was relieved that we won the match. It was a great match with great teamwork.
